Run on the Trinity River

On the 23rd of January, after our Urban Wilderness class, Ashlyn and I took a jog to the Trinity River around 5:00pm. When we were crossing the bridge, we immediately stopped in awe of the sunset. While the river was always beautiful, there was something about that time of the day that made it even more magnificent. In the moment, the birds were chirping, the sun was setting, and there was a nice, warm breeze. Additionally, since it is winter, I was in awe of the bright blues, yellows, and oranges of the sunset; it reminded me that spring was near.
