It's green in Fort Worth!

The last two classes were honestly the best so far. The weather was super nice—sunny but not too hot—and everything was really green Now that it’s spring, the nature center finally looks alive again. Trees, grass, flower. I had a good time just walking around, although, I did get about 10 mosquito bites. Totally worth it though.

What was kind of interesting is how we barely saw anyone else out there. I think we passed maybe five or six people the whole time.  Maybe it’s because not many people know about the place, or maybe they just don’t want to drive that far—it takes about 30 minutes to get there from TCU. But hey, more space for us, I guess.

Hopefully our social media posts and marketing help more people find out about it. It’s actually such a beautiful and peaceful spot, and it deserves more visitors.  Additionally, it’s nice to get outside and not be stuck inside staring at a screen all day. 10/10, would walk around and get bitten again.

  1. Thanks for the post. I am glad the weather turned in our favor finally. I am most glad, however, that you see the value in being outside away from screens. Sorry you got a few mosquito bites. I do carry sun screen and insect repellent for anyone to use.
