Gator Trapping

 It was in fact the first time I watched an alligator being caught. Never in my life have I even sat on a real alligator or touched one as big as that one so it most definitely was an exciting day. I think my biggest takeaway from this experience was seeing this alligator in its weakest moment. Usually, I would imagine the alligator would be snapping and hissing (or whatever noise an alligator might make), but instead we saw it weak and tired. While the staff at the Nature Center were just getting measurements and did not really cause any harm, I still felt empathy for the animal, despite it being a dangerous predator.
